"Gets uncomfortable after a bit"
I grabbed mine from anbernic.com, and yeah, it’s a cool little device at first, but the controls start feeling cramped quickly. The buttons are just a bit too tight for me, and after playing for a while my hands start getting sore. Maybe it’s fine for short sessions, and I do like the size in some ways, but I wouldn’t really want to use it for longer gaming

"the screen looks really good for what I…"
the screen looks really good for what I paid... colors are bright, text is easy to read, and indoors it’s been totally solid. It’s not amazing in direct sunlight, and there is a bit of glare, so I knocked off one star. But overall, I’m happy with it

"The audio works fine for basic use, but..."
The audio works fine for basic use, but I wouldn’t expect too much from the speakers. They feel a little weak, and at times the sound gets kind of tinny. If sound quality matters a lot to you, I’d probably think twice or plan on using external speakers or headphones...

"Way Better Than I Expected"
My RG35XX has surprised me. It runs most of the older games I’ve tried way better than I thought it would, with no major lag or anything that really gets in the way. The buttons feel good too, and I can play for longer sessions without it getting uncomfortable. I actually had a friend recommend it to me, and now I get why. Happy with it overall, especially for the gaming side.

"Packing could definitely be better"
The console showed up with barely any protection inside the box. I’m assuming this is probably how they pack most of these, which is a little concerning because it could’ve easily been damaged during shipping. Thankfully mine was okay, but the packaging felt careless.

"Decent handheld, but the firmware stuff was stressful"
The handheld itself is fine, but dealing with the firmware was kind of a headache. I felt pressured to update because it seemed like that was what I was supposed to do, but the updates were confusing to even find. Then one of them ended up breaking my save states, which was really frustrating. I had to go digging through random forums instead of just getting clear info from the official site. Support did reply, but it was super short and didn’t really solve anything. Not the worst experience ever, just way messier than it needed to be

"I mainly bought this for the games..."
I mainly bought this for the games that came preloaded , and it’s been fun so far . There are a lot of classic ones on there , though I did notice a few repeats . Still , I’m happy with it overall

"Save Your Time and Skip the Stress"
Save your time. My tracking didn’t update for days, and when I reached out to support, they basically just told me to wait. The console did finally show up, but it arrived late and the whole process was way more frustrating than it needed to be.

"Stays cool, fan is fine I guess"
I was a little nervous it was going to run hot, but it’s been staying cooler than I expected, which is great. The fan does kick on here and there, and at first I was like, oh great, here we go, but it’s really not that loud or distracting. Overall I’m happy with it so far, though I’m not trying to act like it’s the most exciting thing ever

"Started Crashing Way Too Soon"
I was hoping this would hold up better, but mine started crashing after only about a week, which was frustrating because at first I thought maybe it was just a one-time thing, but then it kept happening and I just got tired of dealing with it

"Works fine, but setup took more effort than I expected"
I bought this thinking I’d just charge it up and start playing right away, but the setup was more confusing than I expected. The menus felt kind of scattered, and the instructions didn’t really help much. I ended up digging through YouTube and Reddit just to figure out basic things like where to put game folders and how some of the buttons worked. It’s working now, so I don’t feel like I wasted my money, but I definitely spent time I didn’t want to lose just getting it set up. Not a terrible product, but if you’re new to this kind of device, it’s not exactly plug-and-play

"Pretty solid little handheld"
Picked this up for what felt like a fair price. Wasn’t expecting too much, honestly. But it works great. Better than I thought it would be for the money. I’ve been using it here and there, and so far... no issues, no complaints

"WiFi and Bluetooth are testing my patience"
I’ve been trying to be patient with this thing, but the WiFi keeps dropping out and the Bluetooth only pairs when it feels like it. Most of the time I’m stuck waiting, retrying, and hoping it finally connects, which gets old really fast.

"Battery life has been solid so far"
I’ve been using it on and off all week, and the battery has held up better than I expected. My biggest worry was having to charge it every single day, but that hasn’t been the case at all. So far I’m happy with it, though if there’s any kind of rebate or compensation available, I’d definitely appreciate it

"I bought an Anbernic handheld from their site…"
I bought an Anbernic handheld from their site it was fun in the beginning. But after just a few months, the buttons started feeling mushy and the left stick began drifting, even though I never dropped it or treated it rough. It was just normal use around the house. The battery doesn’t seem to last like it did either, and now there’s a small crack near the trigger. For something that should’ve been simple, buy it, play it, enjoy it — it turned into a hassle. I tried dealing with support, but they were slow and made the whole thing feel harder than it needed to be, so I eventually gave up. For the price, I expected it to last longer. I wouldn’t buy again.

"Refund came through, but the return process was a headache"
I ordered from anbernic and ended up having to return it because the screen had an issue. Customer support did respond, but every reply took a few days, so the whole thing dragged on longer than it needed to. The return instructions weren’t super clear either, and it felt like there were a bunch of little policy loopholes that made the process more confusing than it should’ve been. I did get my refund in the end, so it wasn’t a total disaster, but it definitely could’ve been smoother and faster.

"Easy order, but shipping felt a bit slow"
I ordered from anbernic.com and the actual buying process was straightforward. The only downside for me was the shipping. Maybe it’s just me, but it felt slower than I expected, and the tracking didn’t really update for a few days, so I wasn’t totally sure what was happening. It did show up eventually, and the package was in good shape, so nothing major went wrong. Overall, not a bad experience, just not a particularly fast one. I’d say 3 stars feels fair

"Good support, a little slow"
My Anbernic order was taking longer than expected, so I messaged them. They got back to me the next day with a clear update. Took a bit to fully sort out, but they did respond and stayed polite. 4 stars...

"Runs most of my older games surprisingly well"
I picked up an anbernic handheld mostly for emulation, i’m happy with it so far. I’m not sure if it’ll be the same for everyone, but for me PS1, GBA, SNES, and Mega Drive games have been running really smoothly. Even a few PSP games worked better than I thought they would. I did have to mess with some settings here and there, though nothing too confusing. For the price, I’d say it’s been a really fun little device

"Got It Fixed Quickly"
They fixed my issue fast, which I appreciated. whoever runs this should probably make sure these problems don’t happen in the first place, but at least the support team handled it quickly.
